Who we are
Danny started Danny’s Bread in Teneriffe, that has been serving the local community with passion and pride since its founding in 2015, with the vision bring great traditional sourdough bread to Brisbane. Over the years his bread became increasingly popular and this initial space became tight limited production and range.
It was Danny’s desire, once bread production was established, that he would one day have the same opportunity to create great pastry in a similar fashion but for this to happen the Danny’s Bread moniker no longer seemed appropriate and there was little space to expand his current range. Faced with this problem Danny was approached by Harris Farm, which was aware of his work back in Sydney, to head their bakery production in their flagship Queensland store in West End.
Whilst wondering what to do, he was also approached with an amazing space in fortitude valley where there was finally a local destination with sufficient space to grow both range and production. And this is how Danny’s Artisan Bakery was born.
Danny’s Artisan Bakery is nestled in the heart of Fortitude Valley and has a "cellar door" retail space for you to procure your baked treats at the source. Danny still suppls his initial store, Danny’s Bread, with all of their traditional bread, croissants, pastries and so much more. Danny’s Artisan Bakery also proudly bakes in-house at Harris Farm Markets West End and supplys Harris Farm Markets Clayfield.
